Construction and installation process of grounding module:
1. Calculated based on a soil resistivity of 200 ohms (specific soil resistivity is based on on-site measurements), the square grounding module is selected as 500 * 400 * 60mm, horizontally buried for construction. As the resistance value needs to be reduced to 4 ohms, approximately 20 grounding modules and 60 packs of resistance reducing agents are needed
2. Dig 20 pits with a depth of 600mm at intervals of 3m, and then dig a trench of no less than 30cm between the pits for easy connection with flat steel.
3. Place the grounding module into the pit, and then weld each module together with 40mm * 4mm galvanized flat steel, reserving connecting electrodes for easy connection with connecting equipment. Use galvanized flat steel to connect to the grounding box outside the building, and each welding point should be coated with anti rust paint or drained.
4. Pour the resistance reducing agent into the pit to wrap all the grounding electrodes of the grounding module. Then, evenly pour the resistance reducing agent into the trench and wrap the flat steel connecting each grounding module in the trench to form a package with a depth of no less than 200mm. To facilitate the formation of the package, it is recommended to block both sides of the trench with long wooden boards, and then pour the resistance reducing agent inside to easily form the package.
5. After backfilling with fine soil, water should be slowly sprinkled onto the fine soil multiple times to facilitate the full absorption of water by the resistance reducer and the formation of a complete contact between the package and the connecting flat steel. This also facilitates the full contact between the resistance reducer, grounding module, and the surrounding soil to form a larger flow surface.
